Dr. Jianping Xie is currently a Provost’s Chair Professor at the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at National University of Singapore (NUS). He received his BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University, and his PhD from the Singapore-MIT Alliance (SMA) program. Dr. Xie joined NUS in 2010 and established the Noble Metal Nanoclusters research group. His group is known for the work on engineering metal nanoclusters for biomedical and catalytic applications. Dr. Xie has 260+ publications, 37000+ citations and an H-index of 105. His research interests include noble metal nanoclusters, AIE-type luminescent metal nanoclusters, smart synthesis of metal nanoclusters, nanomedicine, and nanocatalysis. Dr. Xie’s recent research award includes Highly Cited Researcher from 2018 to 2024 (by Clarivate Analytics). Dr. Xie is an Associate Editor of Aggregate, Wiley.

Jianping Xie教授现任新加坡国立大学（NUS）化学与生物分子工程系教务长讲席教授。他于清华大学获得化学工程学士与硕士学位，并于新加坡-麻省理工学院联合培养计划（SMA）获得博士学位。2010年加入新加坡国立大学后，他创立了贵金属纳米团簇研究组，其团队在贵金属纳米团簇的可控制备及其在生物医药与催化领域的应用研究方面取得了国际领先成果。

截至目前，Jianping Xie教授已发表学术论文260余篇，论文被引用超过37,000次，H指数达105。其研究方向涵盖贵金属纳米团簇、聚集诱导发光型金属纳米团簇、金属纳米团簇的智能合成、纳米医学及纳米催化等。自2018年至2024年，他连续获评科睿唯安高被引科学家，现任Wiley旗下期刊Aggregate副主编。
